Australian Airline Qantas will fly the first biofueled flight in Australia in 2012.Â
Partnering with two organizations, one specializing in algae-based fuels and one in water-based fuels, this particular Qantas flight will be fueled by something similar to cooking-oil, as according to a Huffington Post article
While Qantas will be the first in Australia, many other airlines including KLM, Lufthansa, Finnair, Aeromexico, United and Alaska Airlines are also working toward utilizing sustainable fuels as well.
