Indy, Kansas City and Detroit recognized as top US airports in USA Today Road Warrior survey

USA Today’s panel of frequent travelers are known as the Road Warriors.  They voluntarily provide the national publication with input on a variety of travel related topics, including recently ranking the top airports to travel through, based on size.

Indianapolis International (IND) was nominated as the best small airport in the US, while Kansas City (MCI) and Detroit (DTW) took the medium and large categories respectively.  The travelers cited availability of comfortable seating and power outlets, as well as friendliness of airport workers among factors in their rankings.
