Oregon Airport Gets Creative With Ad Space Offerings

The Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport (MFR) in southern Oregon is selling ad space on the side of its control tower. Most control towers at other airports are owned by the FAA, but not at MFR—they own theirs, which is how they’re able to provide this advertisement opportunity.
MFR’s Airport Director refers to this opportunity not as ad space, but as an opportunity for “showing a corporate presenceâ€, especially for someone wanting to be more “involved with the communityâ€, he says.
