JFK Two-Plane Taxiway Collision Highlights Ground Support Safety Concerns

An Air France Airbus A380, the largest passenger plane in the industry, violently struck a much smaller regional plane Monday night at Kennedy International Airport (JFK). The collision occurred as the Air France flight was passing behind the Comair regional plane. The Airbus A380’s wing struck the tail of the smaller jet spinning it around on impact.
