New Sleep Option for Coach Passengers

Air New Zealand is now offering what is known as the “sky couch” to passengers on long flights seated in coach. 

According to the Wall Street Journal article, the sky couch set-up includes allowing passengers to purchase a row of seats, the middle one being sold for less than half of its original price. The arm rests fold up and each of the seats has a foot rest, which pops up and locks into place, creating a futon-like set-up across the row.
