Frequent Fliers Give Airlines “Mega Do”s

A wish list including a “champagne toast after takeoff, free beer and wine, sandwiches, preferably wraps, in a picnic bag for short flights, and a full meal on longer flights†resulted from an in-depth market research project involving around 160 frequent fliers, who meet annually for this event now referred to as, the Star Alliance “Mega Doâ€.
According to the Wall Street Journal article, these fliers, “…flew to Chicago, Montreal and Denver, meeting along the way with airline, hotel and aircraft-manufacturing executives, as well as pilots, mechanics and air-traffic controllers.â€
The results of the “Mega Do†help to provide some insight to the airline industry in regard to what passengers value most, fully exposing what they want and need to see on future flights.
